Does the workshop cover 1x and 2x drivetrains?
Yes – we cover both configurations. Please state your drivetrain type when registering so we can prepare optimally.
How do I tell that my chain needs replacing?
With a chain wear gauge – we will show you one. As a rule of thumb: replace the chain at 0.5% elongation and you save your cassette and chainring.
What do I do if a shift cable snaps on a tour?
We will show you how to fix the bike into a single gear and still get home. That is part of trail competence.
Can I buy parts for my drivetrain on site?
Yes. Chains, quick links and shift cables can be purchased on site.
