Frequently Asked Questions
Which brakes are covered in the workshop?
Shimano (mineral oil), SRAM and Magura (both DOT fluid). Please state your system when registering so we can provide the right materials.
How often do I need to bleed a hydraulic brake?
With Shimano rarely – mineral oil is stable. SRAM and Magura (DOT) absorb water more easily and should be bled every 1–2 years, more often with heavy riding.
What if my lever feel was already poor before the workshop?
That’s exactly the reason for this workshop. We help you fix the problem – whether it’s air in the system, worn pads or a dirty piston.
Can I bleed everything myself after the workshop?
Yes – that’s the goal. After the workshop you’ll know the procedure and can repeat it at home yourself with a simple bleed kit.
