How a course day works.
01
Warm-up & getting to know each other
A shared warm-up, a quick round of introductions and an assessment of your current level – so the bike guide knows where you stand and what you’re after.
02
Skills work & drills
Targeted training on specific techniques: cornering, braking technique, balance, rear-wheel repositioning – depending on course level and individual focus.
03
Trail session
Apply what you’ve learned on real terrain – on trails or in the bike park, as a group, with direct feedback from the guide after every section.
04
Feedback & wrap-up
A joint review of the progress made, personal tips to take home and, of course, the well-earned closing high-five with the group.
COURSE LEVELS
Find the right course level for you
Three levels, one shared goal: more safety and more fun on the trail. Pick your level below — or get in touch if you’re not sure.
Level 1 – Basic Skills for Beginners – Master the fundamentals of mountain biking
Would you like to get into mountain biking, or are you already riding forest roads and would like to feel more confident and maybe even tackle a trail?
Then the Basic & Safety Skills course for women is exactly right for you!
This course is for all women who want to improve their control and balance on the bike. We teach fundamental techniques such as safe mounting and dismounting, effective braking and safe cornering.
Dates: 27 April & 4 May 2026; 30 May 2026

Level 2 – Trail Skills for Lower Intermediates – More flow and control on moderately difficult trails
You already ride easy trails, but still have to get off for steeper corners, high steps or slippery roots?
Then a warm welcome to the Trail Skills course for women!
We deepen your cornering and braking technique and work on how you can clear obstacles such as steps safely and efficiently.
Dates: 31 May (Bikepark Innsbruck) & 14 June 2026 (Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis)
Level 3 – Advanced Skills – complex techniques for demanding trails
You’ve been riding trails for a while and want to build on your solid fundamentals and learn more demanding bike techniques?
Then the Master Skills course for women is exactly right for you!
This course is designed for experienced female mountain bikers who want to refine their technique and master new challenges. We work on complex manoeuvres such as repositioning the rear wheel in switchbacks and the bunny hop.

What makes our women’s skills coaching special
- Mental training is part of it: head work – fear, self-confidence, mental blocks – is part of the course, not just technique.
- Max. 7 participants, women only: small group, no performance pressure.
- State-certified instructors, a clear level system: L1–L3 following the ÖRV teaching method.
- Patience instead of pressure: nothing is a must – you ride at your own pace and try whatever feels right.
Frequently asked questions.
Which level do I need?
No minimum level required – we have courses for beginners (Level 1), lower intermediates (Level 2) and advanced riders (Level 3). Choose the right level or get in touch – we’re happy to help you assess it.
What should I wear and bring?
A helmet is mandatory, gloves recommended. Plus weatherproof clothing, water, a snack and, of course, your mountain bike in ride-ready condition. Protective gear (e.g. knee pads, elbow pads, chest and back protectors) is optional, but especially worthwhile for Levels 2 and 3.
Can I take part on an e-bike?
Yes! E-bikes are welcome in all courses – provided the bike is suitable for off-road use (e.g. an e-MTB, not a city e-bike).
How big is the group?
A maximum of 7 participants per course – so the guide has enough time for each individual and you get genuinely individual feedback.
Can I come on my own?
Of course! Most women come solo and look forward to meeting new people. The group energy comes naturally.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
We ride in light rain too – mountain biking in the mud is fun! In case of thunderstorms or extreme conditions we move the course to an alternative date. You’ll be notified in good time.
What if I’m not satisfied?
Yes! If you’re not happy with the course or haven’t made noticeable progress, you’ll either get a full refund or a free spot in the next course. Your satisfaction comes first with us.
What if I’m afraid of certain sections?
With us, nothing is a must. We work patiently at your own pace and practise step by step – you decide what you ride. That’s exactly what the mental training is for.
What sets your women’s coaching apart from other providers?
Mental training is a core element, not an add-on. Plus a maximum of 7 participants in a women-only setting, state-certified instructors and a clear level system (L1–L3) – methodical coaching rather than casual guiding.
