Riding Skills Courses Wipptal — Trails, Location and Conditions
In the Wipptal we coach away from the busy main resorts — the quiet side valleys of Obernberg, Navis and Schmirn offer technical single trails without bike-park pressure, and the Steinach am Brenner bike park is the small lift-supported training base. Anyone who wants to learn riding skills with focus gets undisturbed coaching days in the Wipptal.
Riding Areas at a Glance
- Wipptal route network: 17 signposted routes of all difficulty levels plus 2 single trails
- Technical side valleys: three technical single trails in Obernberg, Navis and Schmirn — alpine Tyrolean character, very little traffic
- Steinach am Brenner bike park: warm-up zone, slopestyle area and 2 downhill tracks (approx. 3 km each, easy and medium)
What Suits You?
- Advanced riders: the technical single trails in the side valleys are ideal for line training without bike-park noise — focus on line choice and stress management on natural terrain
- E-bike leisure riders: the five side valleys (Navis, Schmirn, Valsertal, Obernberg, Gschnitz) are one of the quietest e-bike areas — little traffic, classic Tyrolean mountain huts, moderate climbs
- Beginners (Level 0–1): the Steinach bike park with its warm-up zone and easier downhill tracks is a great start for lift-supported skill building
With Innsbruck and the Stubaital next door, coaching stays flexible — the Wipptal often has a different climate from the main regions, perfect as a weather fallback.
