Mountain Biking in Nauders am Reschenpass — Trails, Location and Conditions
Nauders sits at the Reschenpass — making it the hub of one of the most spectacular riding areas in the Alps: the 3-country enduro trails connect Tyrol, South Tyrol and Switzerland across 60 km of singletrack with 6 cable cars and 2,500 metres of trail descent on tap. If you want alpine enduro character and cross-border touring days, there is no way around Nauders.
Riding areas at a glance
- 3-country enduro trails: 6 cable cars, 30 singletrails, 60 km trail network, 2,500 metres of trail descent on tap
- New for 2026: the blue Mutz Trail from the Mutzkopf down to the valley (beginner-friendly) and the fully renovated Haideralm flow trail
- Cross-border: trails reach into South Tyrol (Vinschgau, Watles, Schöneben) and Switzerland — switching countries for the day is standard
- 2026 season: season opening with the Green Days from 29–31 May 2026 — one of the earliest riding season starts in the Alps
What suits you?
- Trail and flow fans: the 30 singletrails cover every difficulty level — from the new blue Mutz Trail to classic enduro lines with alpine character
- E-bike leisure riders: the high-alpine setting and the cable car links allow long high-altitude tours without hours of climbing — alpine pastures and mountain huts on the Tyrolean and South Tyrolean sides are classic day-trip destinations
- Beginners and families: the new Mutz Trail is a beginner-friendly flow trail — and the renovated Haideralm flow trail offers family-friendly lift-assisted descents
With Tyrol, South Tyrol and Swiss trails within a 30-minute radius, the coaching stays extremely flexible — if the weather closes in at the Reschenpass, sunnier spots on the Vinschgau or Swiss side are quickly reached.
