Mountain Biking in Hinterglemm — Trails, Location and Conditions
Hinterglemm sits at the far end of the Glemm valley and is the high-alpine entry point into the Skicircus. The new lines for 2026 (ScheeLeiten and Wildenkaramba) start from the Schönleiten area. If you want to combine a high-alpine tour feel with lift comfort and want to avoid the bustle of central Saalbach, this is the place for you.
Areas at a glance
- Schönleiten area: two new lines for the 2026 season — ScheeLeiten Line and Wildenkaramba Line
- Hacklberg Trail: one of the region’s best-known singletrails — a classic Saalbach-Hinterglemm trail
- Skicircus network: 9 mountain lifts, 7 mountains, 120 km of trails — rideable continuously from the upper Glemm valley to Leogang and Fieberbrunn
What suits you?
- Trail and flow fans: Hinterglemm offers the lift advantage of the Skicircus infrastructure without the crowds of central Saalbach — great conditions for skills days and repeat laps
- E-bike leisure riders: long alpine-pasture routes lead from the valley end up into the high mountains — moderate gradients and plenty of mountain huts to stop at in the Pinzgau pastures
- Beginners and families: alternate between blue runs on the Schönleiten and quieter valley trails in the upper Glemm valley
When the Skicircus disappears into the clouds up top, we head over to Leogang, Fieberbrunn or the Saalfelden basin — all reachable within the same lift network.
