Mountain Biking in Fieberbrunn — Trails, Location and Conditions
Fieberbrunn is the eastern gateway to the Skicircus — the Pillerseetal valley with direct lift access to Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang. “Home of Lässig” sums up the character rather well: a relaxed Tyrolean vibe compared to the big Salzburg resorts next door, but with the same bike infrastructure and shorter waits at the lift.
The areas at a glance
- Skicircus network: 120 km of trails, 9 mountain lifts, 7 mountains — Fieberbrunn is connected to the whole region via the mountain-lift network
- Pillerseetal character: a quieter lift side than central Saalbach — great for focused coaching without the bustle of the main resort
- EPIC Bikepark Leogang within reach: the lift network lets you switch over to the UCI World Cup park for a day
What suits you?
- Trail and flow fans: quick into EPIC Bikepark Leogang via the lift network, back on the Saalbach side — a big-tour feel right across the region
- Leisurely e-bikers: PillerseeTal has classic alpine-pasture routes with hut stops — moderate touring days without bikepark hustle, ideal for relaxed e-bike outings
- Beginners and families: a quieter lift side than central Saalbach — shorter waits, less traffic on the trails, ideal for first bikepark experiences
The Skicircus network opens up the whole region — if the weather in PillerseeTal doesn’t cooperate, Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang are within easy reach.
