MTB Skills Courses Stubaital — Trails, Location and Conditions
In the Stubaital we coach on two very different levels — the Schlick 2000 Bike Park at the foot of the Kalkkögel is the lift training base, plus 240 km of trail network in the valley for touring days and high-altitude rides. Its location 15 minutes from Innsbruck makes the Stubai a flexible coaching base for all skill levels.
Riding areas at a glance
- Schlick 2000 Bike Park: lift-served area at the foot of the Kalkkögel, Kreuzjochbahn reopening from 04.06.2026
- Stubai trail network: 240 km of MTB routes, around 13,000 vertical metres of trail reserve — all trails marked according to the MTB-Tirol model
- Location: just 15 minutes from Innsbruck — easily combined with Inntal trails or Patscherkofel rides
What suits you?
- Skills beginners and advanced riders: Schlick 2000 offers lift repeats for structured skill building — great conditions for Level 1 to 3 coaching days
- E-bike leisure riders: the well-kept forest and alpine track network with classic Tyrolean hut stops (e.g. Issenangeralm, Bsuchalm) — plenty of day-trip destinations for relaxed e-bike tours
- Families: the family-friendly trails in Schlick 2000 and quiet valley paths in the rear Stubaital — stress-free even for children
With Innsbruck and the Wipptal next door — if the weather turns in the Stubai, alternative trails are just 20 minutes away.
