Mountain Biking in the Oberinntal — Trails, Location and Conditions
The Oberinntal is the western section of the Tyrolean Inn Valley between Imst and Landeck — a geographical hub between the Ötztal, Pitztal, Paznaun, Reschenpass and Arlberg. Anyone planning their coaching in the Oberinntal can reach all the major Tyrolean bike areas in 30–45 minutes’ drive at most. That makes the region especially flexible for multi-day coaching and weather-fallback days.
The areas at a glance
- Central hub location: reachable in 30–45 minutes: Bike Republic Sölden (Ötztal), Hochzeiger Bike Trails (Pitztal), Silvretta Bike Arena (Paznaun), 3-Länder Enduro Trails (Reschenpass), St. Anton (Arlberg)
- Inn Valley routes: the Inn cycle path and local MTB routes between Imst, Landeck and the side valleys
- Access to the Tyrolean Oberland: Landeck, Kappl and Galtür as tour areas with classic alpine character
What suits you?
- Trail and flow fans: thanks to the central location we have several top lift-served bike parks (Sölden, Hochzeiger, Reschenpass) within day-trip distance — ideal for structured skill-building weeks
- E-bike leisure riders: the quiet side valleys of the Oberinntal (Stanzertal, the mouth of the Pitztal, the area around Imst) are perfect for relaxed e-bike tours — plenty of alpine pastures, little traffic, classic Tyrolean huts
- Beginners and families: the Inn cycle path and the flatter valley routes make ideal first coaching days — and thanks to the hub location we can step up the difficulty flexibly later on
The Oberinntal is our most flexible coaching base — if one valley closes due to the weather, alternatives with sometimes completely different conditions are within 30–45 minutes.
