MTB JUMP & DROP COURSE

Jump & Drop Course MTB — Bikepark Leogang & Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Jump and drop course MTB Bikepark Leogang

Region

Why learn jump technique systematically?

Jumps and drops done “on instinct” often go wrong — dead sailor, hard landing, front-wheel crash. With a system: pop, body position, front-wheel timing — it becomes routine.

Pop & Timing

When do I pull the front wheel? When do I push? Pop timing becomes routine through practice jumps.

Clean landing

Body position in the air, front/rear wheel touchdown, using your suspension travel. No more dead sailor.

Build up progressively

We start small (pump track, rollers, mini-drops) and progress step by step to bigger jumps — no one has to overshoot.

Frequently asked questions about the Jump & Drop course

Where does the jump course take place?

Exclusively at Bikepark Leogang (Saalfelden, Salzburg) or Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis (Tirol). Both have suitable jump lines, a skill area and lift infrastructure. We don’t offer other bikeparks (Mutters, Sölden, AREA 47) for jump specialist courses.

What level do I need for the jump course?

You should ride at least slightly advanced — braking confidently, smooth cornering, small berms. We recommend complete beginners take “Level 0/1” as preparation.

What does a jump & drop course cost?

Regular full-day courses from €89 p.p. Private coaching: 1st person €320 for 2.5 h, each additional €80 (max. 7 riders). Lift ticket for Bikepark Leogang or SFL is extra.

What bike do I need for jumps?

Full-suspension bike with 140 mm travel or more (160 mm enduro is better). A hardtail is not suitable for bigger drops. Helmet mandatory (full-face recommended for the bikepark), knee/elbow pads, gloves. Rental enduros on request.
