Frequently asked questions about camps & trips
Do I need a specific level?
It depends on the camp. Bike Camp SFL and Tuscany recommend Level 2+. Ride Like a Girl is possible from Level 1. Stelvio and Canada require good fitness and trail experience (Level 2–3). Not sure? Call us – we’ll tell you where you stand in 2 minutes.
What’s included in the price?
This varies by option. Always included: guided tours with state-certified instructors, organisation and trip planning. Multi-day camps often also include accommodation and breakfast. You’ll find the details on each event page.
Do I need my own bike?
Yes, your own MTB or e-MTB. We can arrange rental bikes on request – depending on the destination and availability.
Is GEMMA AUSSI a travel agency?
Yes. GEMMA AUSSI is a licensed travel agency. Your booking for multi-day trips is legally protected – including travel insurance under Austrian law.
Can I join a trip as a beginner?
Yes – with preparation. Take a riding technique course first (e.g. the Level-Up package) and you’ll be ready for camps from Level 2. Alternatively: the Season Pass gives you all 4 levels for the whole season.
What happens in bad weather?
We ride in (almost) any weather – MTB is an outdoor sport. In extreme conditions we adjust the route or switch spots. For multi-day trips we always have backup plans.
